Renato Paulic
Renato graduated from Metal Trades College in Maribor, Slovenia in 1964. A desire
to explore the world saw him move with his family to Australia in 1967.
In Australia he worked as a contract toolmaker and tool designer. Some of his
customers were GM Holden, maker of automotive parts; Diecraft Australia, a division
of Tupperware, maker of household products; and Hella Corporation, maker of automotive
lenses.
In 1975 Renato and his family returned to Slovenia and in 1976 moved to Vancouver,
Canada. For the first three years in Vancouver he was working at Highland Manufacturing
Ltd. developing and manufacturing swimming goggles for Speedo Corporation.
In May 1979 Renato formed PH Molds Ltd. with the goal to become a customer driven,
custom injection molding house. His company grew from a small one man operation
in 1979 to current expansive facilities with over 40 employees. During his more
than 35 years of working in the field of plastics, Renato has been involved in
the development and engineering of many plastic products; some of which were
developed more than 20 years ago and are still sold today.

Matjaz Paulic
Growing up in the Paulic home, Mat was introduced to plastics at an early age
and found himself working summers at his family's molding company during his
teen years.
Mat attended BCIT's 3-year technology program in process control systems and
graduated third in his class. This education has given him a solid foundation
in process & manufacturing control systems.
Mat spent 12 years, from 1989 to 2001, developing a successful career with
Engel Canada, a world leader in the manufacturing of injection molding machines.
He spent the first year of his career in the Service Engineer Training Program
but quickly jumped at the opportunity of a Control Systems Programmer and within
a year was promoted to Group Leader of Software. After seven years as Group Leader,
Mat took the position of Technical Liaison between Engineering and the customer
for all non-standard control requirements, spending two years in this position.
His last two years were spent in new product development on emerging technologies
in the plastics industry.
In 2001 Mat decided to join the family business. Mat's 15 years of experience
in the industry and his lifetime around plastics have prepared him well for successfully
leading PH Molds into the future. His responsibilities include all manufacturing
operations and the developing of new customers and products.

line voltage upgrading, five year distribution load forecasting, the design and
project engineering of two underground transmission lines, and the development
of a report identifying issues facing the 'under grounding' of overhead transmission
lines in urban areas in Greater Vancouver.
